Dido Florian Cloud de Bounevialle O'Malley Armstrong (born 25 December 1971 in London, England) professionally known as Dido (pronounced DYE-doe) is an award winning English singer-songwriter.
Dido was born Florian Cloud de Bounevialle Armstrong at St. Mary Abbots hospital in Kensington, London on Christmas Day 1971. Because she was born on Christmas Day, she also celebrates an "official birthday" on 25 June, following the example of Paddington Bear. Her mother, Clare (née Collins) is a French poet and her father, William O'Malley Armstrong was an Irish publisher and former managing director of Sidgwick & Jackson. She has an older brother, Rowland Constantine O'Malley Armstrong who is better known as record producer Rollo. Despite their impressive birth names, the pair were known from childhood by the names that are famous now — Dido and Rollo. Dido has made it clear that "Dido" is now her real name and not simply a stage name or nickname. Dido was named after the mythical Queen of Carthage. As a child, she had to deal with the ambiguous and unusual nature of her name, which led to her being bullied and even to her pretending to have an ordinary name. As she explains: To be called one thing and christened another is actually very confusing and annoying. It's one of the most irritating things that my parents did to me. ...Florian is a German man's name. That's just mean. To give your child a whole lot of odd names. They were all so embarrassing. ...I thought it was cruel to call me Dido and then expect me to just deal with it. —Dido, Interview published in The Observer in 2001 Dido was educated at Thornhill Primary, City of London Girls' and Westminster School. After she stole a recorder from school at age five, her parents enrolled her at the Guildhall School of Music in London, England. By the time she reached her teens Dido had learned to play the piano, recorder and the violin. She later studied law at Birkbeck, University of London, while working as a literary agent. She never completed the course, deciding instead to take up music full-time. After learning the guitar, she showcased her skills to audiences during her 2004 Life for Rent tour.
Upon the release of No Angel in 1999, after a long time promoting the album, Dido broke up with her fiancé, entertainment lawyer Bob Page, after a seven-year relationship. While she has described her departure from him as her becoming "a free agent in every sense", the two remain friends. A few songs on her No Angel album were written with him in mind ("Thank You" was written about missing him), and she thanked him overtly and publicly upon winning the Songwriter of the Year award at the Ivor Novello music awards, adding, "The song 'Thank You' still sums up that relationship. Being single might make my album more psycho this time".

Rose Arianna McGowan (born September 5, 1973) is an Italian-born American actress,
best known for her role as Paige Matthews in The WB TV series Charmed, and the cult film The Doom Generation. She has also appeared in several major Hollywood films, with leading roles in Jawbreaker and the Quentin Tarantino/Robert Rodriguez double-feature Grindhouse, and a supporting role in Scream. McGowan was recently the co-host of TCM's film-series program, The Essentials; in the most recent season, Alec Baldwin has replaced her as co-host.
McGowan, the second-eldest of six children (plus two half-siblings), was born in Florence, Italy, the daughter of Terri, an American writer of French descent, and Daniel McGowan, an artist of Irish descent. Daniel McGowan ran an Italian chapter of the Children of God to which both he and his wife held membership until 1978. McGowan spent her early childhood amid the group's communes, often traveling Europe with her parents. Through her father's art contacts in Italy, McGowan became a child model and appeared in Vogue Bambini and various other Italian magazines. Her parents returned to the United States when she was 10, when they divorced. She subsequently relocated to Oregon and then to Gig Harbor, Washington, where she also met childhood friend Rey-Phillip Santos. McGowan did not speak English until she moved to the U.S.
McGowan's formative years were spent with her father in Seattle, Washington, attending Roosevelt High School and Nova Alternative High School. At the age of 15, she officially emancipated herself from her parents. McGowan pursued a possible career in the film industry during her late teens, and also enrolled in a beauty school as a back-up.
McGowan was the face of American clothing company Bebe from 1998 to 1999. She was also the cover model for the Henry Mancini tribute album Shots in the Dark, which was released in 1996. In addition to clothing endorsements, McGowan has appeared on numerous magazine covers, including Seventeen, Interview, Maxim, GQ, Entertainment Weekly and Rolling Stone. She has also frequently been featured on Maxim, FHM and Stuff magazine's sexiest women lists.
McGowan used to live in Seattle, Washington, but currently resides in Los Angeles, California. She was in a very public three and a half-year relationship with rock musician Marilyn Manson, and famously appeared with him at the 1998 MTV Video Music Awards wearing a nearly transparent fishnet dress. McGowan later ended their two-year engagement over "lifestyle differences." She has since gone on to have relationships with fellow actor Kip Pardue, TV personality Ahmet Zappa, and Men's Health magazine editor David Zinczenko. Prior to the release of Grindhouse, there was speculation that McGowan was dating married director Robert Rodriguez. In May 2007, it was reported that they confirmed their relationship while appearing hand-in-hand at the Cannes Film Festival. On October 12, 2007 it was announced by Zap2it.com that McGowan was engaged to Rodriguez. They are planning to wed in 2009.
McGowan has admitted to sleepwalking as a child. "The weirdest spot I ever woke up was a snow bank in Montreal. Now I just speak Italian in my sleep." McGowan also suffers from agoraphobia, an anxiety disorder.

Yvonne Catterfeld (born 2 December 1979 in Erfurt, Thuringia) is a German singer, actress and TV host.
Catterfeld was born in Erfurt, Thuringia, Germany in 1979. At the age of 15 she started playing the piano and the flute, simultaneously taking first dance and vocal lessons. After the high school graduation she studied Pop and Jazz at the Felix Mendelssohn College of Music and Theatre in Leipzig for two years. In 1998 she eventually released her first recordings titled KIV, but the seven songs only found little to none professional response. After her studies Yvonne participated in the singing contest Stimme 2000 (briefly performing under the name Vivianne), where she met manager and later BMG boss Thomas Stein, who offered her a contract with the sub-label Hansa Music. In 2001 she released her first official single, Bum, a cover of the same-titled All Saints track, but once again the record did not enter the charts. At least the following three single Komm zurück zu mir, Niemand sonst and Gefühle helped to expand Catterfeld's popularity. In 2002 she became part of popular German soap opera Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten, where she portrayed the role of Julia Blum until 2005. Pushed by her TV presence Yvonne finally found big success with her fourth single produced by Dieter Bohlen Für dich, which went to #1 of the German, Austrian and Swiss singles charts. Her first album Meine Welt saw similar success and was eventually certified Platinum. One year later she was able to reprise this success with Du hast mein Herz gebrochen and her second album Farben meiner Welt. In November 2005 Catterfeld became the leading actress in the historical telenovela Sophie — Braut Wider Willen. However, the show never answered the network's expectations and as a result it ended in March 2006 after only 65 episodes. At the same time Yvonne released her first single in English, Where Does The Love Go, a collaboration with singer Eric Benét. In 2006, Catterfeld released her fourth studio album, Aura. She dated German actor Wayne Carpendale since January 2005; they separated in August 2007. Catterfeld has also recently become a spokesperson for Proactiv Solution. Because of her resemblance with Romy Schneider, Catterfeld is planned to play the title role in the Warner Bros. 2009 film Eine Frau wie Romy (A Woman Like Romy).
