Amy Lou Adams (born August 20, 1974) is an American actress.
She is best known for playing characters with cheerful and sunny dispositions such as her Academy Award-nominated role as Ashley Johnsten in Junebug and her Golden Globe Award-nominated role as Giselle in Enchanted.
Amy Adams was born in Vicenza, Italy, the daughter of American parents Kathryn and Richard Adams, who was a U.S. serviceman stationed in Italy. She grew up as one of seven children in Castle Rock, Colorado and was raised as a Mormon, although her family left the church after Adams' parents divorced when she was 11 years old. Throughout her years at Douglas County High School, she sang in the school choir and trained as an apprentice at a local dance company with ambitions of becoming a ballerina. However, after graduating from high school, she decided that she was "never going to be that good [at ballet], no matter how hard [she] work[ed]" and entered musical theater, which she found was "much better suited to [her] personality".

Roxanne 'Roxy' Pallett (born 26 December 1982 in Carlisle, Cumbria) is an English actress, most famous for playing the role of Jo Sugden in the ITV soap opera, Emmerdale. In January 2006, she appeared in ITV's live music show Soapstar Superstar.
Pallett was born and brought up in Carlisle, Cumbria, by her mother and grandmother, where she attended Robert Ferguson Primary School and Trinity Secondary School. After completing a degree in media and cultural studies at Liverpool John Moores University, she was a founder member of the girl band Urban Angel. After being signed to a music producer, Pallett decided to pursue an acting career. In 2005, Pallett landed her first acting role as Jo Stiles in ITV's Emmerdale.

Alexandra Maria Lara (born Alexandra Plătăreanu on November 12, 1978) is a Romanian-born German actress living in Germany.
She performs predominantly in leading roles in a variety of historical and crime films. Lara is best known for her roles in Control (2007), Youth Without Youth (2007), Nackt (2002), Downfall (2004), and About the Looking for and the Finding of Love (2005).
Born in Bucharest, Lara is the only child of Valentin Plătăreanu, a Bucharest actor, and his wife, Doina, a homemaker. At the age of four (in 1983) her family decided to flee to West Germany to escape Nicolae Ceauşescu's regime in Communist Romania. Although the family had originally planned to emigrate to Canada, they settled down in Freiburg im Breisgau, Baden-Württemberg, before eventually moving to Berlin. After graduating at the Französisches Gymnasium Berlin in 1997, Lara went on studying acting under the management of her father, co-founder of the Theaterwerkstatt Charlottenburg, until 2000.

Lena Headey (born 3 October 1973) is an English actress best known for playing Sarah Connor on FOX's Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, as well as appearing in such films as The Remains of the Day, Possession, The Brothers Grimm and 300.
Her father, an English police officer, was sent to train police in Bermuda where Headey was born. The family returned to Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, when she was eight years old. She got her first taste of acting as a pupil at Shelley College and got her big break at the age of 17 when she was spotted performing in a school production at the Royal National Theatre and was picked for a role opposite Jeremy Irons in the 1992 film Waterland. This was followed by roles in James Ivory's Academy Award-nominated The Remains of the Day (alongside Anthony Hopkins and Emma Thompson), Stephen Sommers' The Jungle Book, Mrs Dalloway, Gossip, Aberdeen, The Parole Officer, Possession and Ripley's Game. Headey has co-starred with Matt Damon and Heath Ledger in Terry Gilliam's The Brothers Grimm, and played Queen Gorgo in Zack Snyder's 300, based on Frank Miller's graphic novel. She also appeared in two films with Piper Perabo: The Cave and Imagine Me & You. Next up is The Red Baron with Joseph Fiennes. In addition to her film work, Headey is currently headlining Fox's Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, a television spin-off from James Cameron's popular Terminator franchise.
Headey dated actor Jason Flemyng for nine years. She and Flemyng met during the filming of The Jungle Book. She married musician Peter Paul Loughran on 19 May 2007 and is close friends with actress Piper Perabo. She is currently a resident of California, USA.
Outside of her acting profession, Headey continued taking boxing lessons in London. She is a vegetarian, and also remains loyal to yoga, which she discovered during her work in India. She has never been back to her birthplace in Bermuda, and shares her time between her homes in London, England, and Los Angeles, California.

Natalie Portman (Hebrew: נטלי פורטמן‎; born Natalie Hershlag June 9, 1981) is an Israeli-American actress.
Portman began her career in the early 1990s, turning down the opportunity to become a child model in favor of acting. Her first role came in the 1994 independent film Léon. She became well known when she was cast as Padmé Amidala in the Star Wars prequel trilogy. Portman, who stated that she would "...rather be smart than be a movie star," completed a bachelor's degree in psychology at Harvard College while she was working on the Star Wars films. In 2001, Portman opened in New York City's Public Theater production of Chekhov's The Seagull, alongside Meryl Streep, Kevin Kline, and Philip Seymour Hoffman. In 2005, Portman received a Golden Globe Award as Best Supporting Actress in the drama Closer. In May 2008, she served as the youngest member of the 61st Annual Cannes Film Festival jury. The 65th Venice International Film Festival organizers have announced that the fest's shorts competition will kick off September 1, 2008, with Portman's directorial debut, Eve.
Portman was born Natalie Hershlag (Hebrew: נטלי הרשלג‎) in Jerusalem, Israel. Her father, Avner Hershlag, is an Israeli doctor specializing in fertility and reproduction (reproductive endocrinology). Her mother, Shelley Stevens, is an American homemaker who now works as her agent. Portman's maternal ancestors were Jews from Austria and Russia and her paternal ancestors were Jews who immigrated to Israel from Poland and Romania. Portman's parents met at a Jewish student center at Ohio State University where her mother was selling tickets. Her father returned to Israel, but the two corresponded and were married when her mother visited Israel a few years later. In 1984, when Portman was three years old, the family moved from Israel to the United States, where her father pursued his medical training. The family first lived in Washington, D.C., where she attended Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School, but relocated to Connecticut in 1988, and then settled permanently in Long Island, New York, in 1990. Portman has said that although she "really love[s] the States... my heart's in Jerusalem. That's where I feel at home." She is an only child and very close to her parents, who are often seen with her at her film premieres.
