Katharine Hope McPhee (born March 25, 1984) is an American pop & R&B singer, songwriter, actress, model, and television personality.
She gained fame as a contestant on the fifth season of the FOX reality show American Idol, eventually finishing as the runner-up. In 2006, she signed to RCA Records as a recording artist, releasing her debut album Katharine McPhee in January 2007. In 2008 she starred in the movie "The House Bunny" as the pregnant hippie, Harmony.
Born in Los Angeles, California, McPhee moved with her family to Sherman Oaks at age 12, McPhee has been singing since the age of two. Her mother, Patricia Burch McPhee (stage name Peisha Arten, a vocal coach and accomplished cabaret singer, recognized her daughter's musical talent and decided to train her. Her father, Daniel McPhee, is a television producer.
McPhee attended Boston Conservatory for three semesters, majoring in musical theater. She left the college on the advice of her manager and returned to Los Angeles to try out for television pilots. In a People news article, it was reported that she was rejected in "only 195 out of 200 auditions." She had a small role as "Paramount Girl" in the 2007 musical film Crazy, based on the life of Hank Garland. McPhee was also part of a failed mall-based MTV soap opera entitled You Are Here, playing the older sister of a more popular younger sister.
McPhee has struggled with eating disorders in the past. She told People (magazine) that at age 13 she began starving herself and exercising compulsively, and she became bulimic at age 17. During her run on American Idol, she lost 30 pounds. After a period of about five years, she began treatment after qualifying for American Idol. After seven years of illness, she finally entered a three-month rehab program. Now, as she told Teen Vogue in May 2007, "I eat whatever I crave—I'm just really careful about portions."
McPhee and her sister appeared on debut of The Dr. Keith Ablow Show on September 18, 2006, to discuss her struggles with bulimia and her childhood fear of her father. On the show, McPhee stated that she was misdiagnosed with a learning disability during her middle school years but was finally correctly diagnosed with a vision problem.
On February 2, 2008, McPhee married her 43-year-old boyfriend, Nick Cokas, in a Beverly Hills Presbyterian Church.

Kristin Chenoweth (born July 24, 1968) is an American singer and musical theater, film, and television actress.
Some of her best-known roles have included Glinda in Broadway's Wicked and Annabeth Schott in television's The West Wing. She most recently appeared in the role of Olive Snook on the ABC dramedy Pushing Daisies for which she received an Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy. She is also the face of Jude Frances jewelry.
Chenoweth has a distinctive speaking voice. In FHM's March 2006 issue, she compared her voice to that of Betty Boop. Chenoweth is a soprano known for her skilled singing technique and artistic interpretations.
Chenoweth was born Kristi Dawn Chenoweth (she added an "n" in her first name later because she thought that "Kristin" was a more operatic name than "Kristi") in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and was adopted at birth. Chenoweth's ancestry includes one-quarter Cherokee lineage. Chenoweth attended Oklahoma City University, where she was a member of Gamma Phi Beta (Beta Omicron) Sorority. She earned a degree in musical theater and a master's degree in opera performance, studying under Florence Birdwell who taught Miss America 1981 Susan Powell and three-time Tony nominee Kelli O'Hara. While at OCU, Chenoweth won the title of "Miss OCU" and went on to win second runner-up in the Miss Oklahoma pageant in 1991. She also performed at Opryland USA.
Chenoweth won a "most talented up-and-coming singer" award in the Metropolitan Opera National Council auditions, which came with a full scholarship to Philadelphia's Academy of Vocal Arts. Two weeks before school started, she went to New York City to help a friend move. While there, she auditioned for the Paper Mill Playhouse's production of the musical Animal Crackers and got the role of Arabella Rittenhouse. She turned down the scholarship and moved to New York to do the show and pursue a career in musical theater.
Chenoweth has agreed to write a memoir about her life, describing her adoption, her turn in Wicked and her time in Hollywood. She has stated that the book will not be a 'tell all', and instead will focus on "how I got where I am so far." The planned date of publication is 2009. The title has been revealed to be A Little Bit Wicked: Life, Love, and Faith in Stages.
Chenoweth has spoken publicly about her faith; she describes herself as a non-judgmental Christian. Raised as a Southern Baptist, she later chose to have a personal connection to a faith that is not based in any one denomination. When in California, she attends a non-denominational church in Malibu. In New York, she attends a United Methodist Church.
Chenoweth also has a large gay fanbase, and was uninvited from a Women of Faith conference in September 2005 "due to her publicized and heartfelt beliefs that God is accepting of all people on earth", including homosexuals.
Chenoweth released an album in April 2005 called As I Am, a mixture of hymns and contemporary Christian music, with adult contemporary arrangements. To promote the album, she made an appearance on The 700 Club, an appearance that upset some of her gay fans. She later said she thought that the "Pat Robertsons and Jerry Falwells of the world are scary" and that she regretted appearing on the show.
Chenoweth was once engaged to actor Marc Kudisch and previously dated virtuoso violinist Joshua Bell.
She also dated producer/writer Aaron Sorkin. In Sorkin's Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, the character of Harriet Hayes bears significant resemblances to Chenoweth, and the relationship between the Christian Hayes and "East Coast liberal Jewish atheist" (her description) Matt Albie is modeled after that between Chenoweth and Sorkin;Chenoweth's decision to appear on the 700 Club and her falling out with Women of Faith were depicted with the Hayes character.
She reportedly is dating 25 year old producer/writer/director, Charlie McDowell. He was her date at the 2008 Tony Awards. (June 15, 2008)
Sorkin accompanied her to ABC's Television Critics Association press tour party at the Beverly Hilton on July 17, 2008.

Olivia Wilde (born Olivia Jane Cockburn; March 10, 1984) is an Irish-American actress.
She began acting in the early 2000s, and has since appeared in a number of film and television parts, including her roles on the series The O.C., The Black Donnellys, and House.
Wilde was born in New York City, New York. Her mother, Leslie Cockburn (née Corkhill Redlich), is a 60 Minutes producer and journalist, and her father, Andrew Cockburn, is an Irish journalist, as are her uncles Alexander and Patrick, all of whom are contributors to the political website CounterPunch.org. Her half-aunt is mystery writer Sarah Caudwell. Her paternal grandfather was the Irish novelist and journalist Claud Cockburn. Wilde has said that as a result of her family background, she has a "strong journalistic streak", being "really critical and analytical". She has wanted to become an actress since the age of two. For a short time, Olivia's family had a house in Guilford, Vermont, USA. Wilde attended Georgetown Day School in Washington, D.C., as well as Phillips Academy, and subsequently moved to Dublin, Ireland, where she attended The Gaiety School of Acting. She initially began working as a casting assistant.
Wilde has dual citizenship between the United States and Ireland. Wilde is a natural blonde and has stated that people have been "shocked" that she is a blonde but that "I wasn't stupid". She married Italian-American documentary filmmaker, photographer and flamenco guitar player Tao Ruspoli on June 7, 2003, in Washington, Rappahannock County, Virginia. They currently live and work in Venice, Los Angeles, California.

Kathryn Bailey "Kate" Beckinsale (born 26 July 1973) is an English actress, known for her roles in the films Pearl Harbor (2001), Underworld (2003), Van Helsing (2004), and The Aviator (2004). Beckinsale has played a vampire in (Underworld (2003) and a vampire hunter (Van Helsing (2004).
Born in Finsbury Park, London, Beckinsale is the daughter of actor Richard Beckinsale, who died from a heart attack in 1979, and actress Judy Loe. She has a paternal half-sister, Samantha, who is also an actress. Beckinsale's paternal great-grandfather was Burmese, and Beckinsale has said that she was "very oriental-looking" as a child. Beckinsale attended the Godolphin and Latymer School, an all-girls independent school in London. In her teens, Beckinsale twice won the W. H. Smith Young Writers' competition — once for three short stories and once for three poems. After a rebellious adolescence, including a period of anorexia and starting a smoking habit, she followed in the footsteps of her parents and began her acting career. Her first role was in One Against the Wind, a television film about World War II that was first aired in 1991. Having gained three language A levels, Beckinsale studied French and Russian literature at New College, Oxford, though she did not finish her degree. Spent her teens reading French, Russian and German novels because of her studies, and completed A-levels in Russian, German and French, which resulted in her admission to Oxford University. Beckinsale suffers from stomach ulcers, and was anorexic as a teenager.
Beckinsale and her ex-boyfriend Michael Sheen have a daughter, Lily Mo Sheen (born 31 January 1999). She reported in interviews that during her pregnancy with Lily was the only time she has ever stopped smoking. During the Underworld shoot, Beckinsale split from Sheen, who was also starring in the film. She became involved with the director of the film, Len Wiseman. In June 2003, Beckinsale became engaged to Wiseman, and the two were married on 9 May 2004 in Bel-Air, California. She is close friends with Victoria Beckham.

Nicole Evangeline Lilly (born August 3, 1979) is a Canadian Golden Globe-nominated actress.
She is known for her role as Kate Austen in the ABC drama Lost.
Lilly was born in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada, to a devoutly Evangelist Christian family. Her father is a home economics teacher, and her mother is a beauty consultant. Lilly also has a younger sister, Andrea, whom she has described as "the actor in the family". During her childhood, the family did not have a television. Before leaving the city of Fort Saskatchewan at the age of 10, she attended three elementary schools. She briefly attended Fort Elementary, Rudolph Henning and James Mowat Elementary. During a phone interview with the local paper, The Record, Lilly was quoted saying, "When I was a kid, the Fort was tiny. I could ride my bike at five years old from one end of town to the other ... To me Fort Saskatchewan holds a lot of really great memories. I just consider it a little happy hideaway." Lilly served briefly as a foreign missionary and lived in a grass hut in the Philippines at the age of 18. She was offered a missionary post there for two years, an offer she nearly accepted but eventually declined because of her parents' wishes. Lilly is a former flight attendant of Air Canada, and speaks French fairly well. She also worked at Green Bay Bible Camp near Kelowna.
