Founded in 1982, Movimento is a designer, manufacturer and marketer of beachwear and sportswear specializing in bikinis, one-piece swimsuits, swim trunks, accessories such as hats, bags, and eyewear.
Showing primarily during Sao Paulo Fashion Week, the company takes part in the main international fairs of the sector, such as Prémière Vision, in Paris; Lyon Mode City, in Lyon, France, and Comocrea Textile Design Show, in Como, Italy.
With 19 freestanding stores in Brazil, it is considered one of the big players in the swimwear market. It is also exported to Europe, Canada and Australia.
In 2002, Movimento was chosen by the Association of Shopping Centers' Shop Owners as "Outstanding Shop" in the Allshop/Visa Award in Brazil.
